Sobo Beach

Sobo Beach is one of those places where the setting alone puts you in a good mood. The coffee is genuinely good, and the location couldn’t be better — you’re right on a beautiful stretch of beach that feels like a little escape. The food leans on the pricey side, but the flavours make up for it, so it still feels worth the treat. In summer, having a lifeguard on duty adds that extra bit of peace of mind, especially if you’re visiting with family or planning to swim. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to relax, sip something warm, and enjoy the coastline.

Great place to eat and drink. With the beach as a view it's very relaxing and chilled out atmosphere. Kid friendly. On my recent trip I brought a mocha to drink but in the past have brought chips. The Brownie is lush I would definitely recommend.

Had such a great time at SOBO Beach! The vibe there is unreal – proper relaxed beach atmosphere, chilled music, and just a really nice place to sit and unwind. Whether you’re popping in after a walk along the seafront or making a proper morning of it, it just feels like a treat. The smoothies are honestly some of the best I’ve had. Super fresh, packed with flavour, and actually taste like real fruit – not watered down like some places. You can tell they use good ingredients, and they’re the perfect start to the day or a post-beach refresher. And the breakfast bap… unreal. Proper generous portion, cooked perfectly, and everything just works together. Fresh bread, quality fillings, and full of flavour. It’s one of those breakfasts that sets you up for the whole day. Staff were friendly and welcoming too, which just tops it off. All round, such a solid spot. If you’re near the beach and fancy good food, great smoothies, and a relaxed vibe, SOBO Beach is definitely worth it.

What an unusual place! Couldn’t believe my eyes, the restaurant cafe is made up of 3 different parts - a double decker bus, a Wok shack and a shabby/chic bar, dining area. Staff helpfully informed us that there was room on the bus which would be warmer as it was a rainy, chilly day. It was so cosy up there and very quirky. We ordered mulled cider and a cappuccino and 3 Nacho meals plus a chicken goujons and chips. Not cheap, came to just over £60. I couldn’t eat all the nachos, too many and overall too salty meal but I took mine home and reheated next day in the oven. The winter salad sounded amazing, should have stuck with that. Fabulous, creative place in a perfect location on the sea front.

I love it. They have tables on the beach. There are seats upstairs in the bus with sea view. Food is a bit pricey but delicious. Would go there again for sure

I had the absolute pleasure of hosting a sea-inspired Rejuvenate workshop with Helen's Hypnotherapy at Sobo Beach Café last week for parents of special needs children and adults, and it was truly wonderful . The owners generously donated their space, giving a group of people who really needed some time to relax and focus on self-care the perfect environment. The character of the cute vintage bus, the chilled-out, laid-back vibe, and the sound of the waves lapping on the gorgeous sandy beach is a magical setting that feels like a little slice of heaven. Add in the amazing coffee, and from the moment you arrive, you always feel calm, inspired, and just happy. A heartfelt thank you to the team for supporting this special event, it made all the difference!

Excellent find another trip to Bournemouth,and we found this little gem of Beach. Lovely Beech,nice little venue to sit and chill with friends had live DJ music playing not too loud. Friendly crowd and staff are lovely.

Message to my furrry friends...u have to try the special doghnuts! They are wonderbarrr! little tip....perhaps....some doggy herbal potions as well...yum yum
